JB4.0: Not too sure how long other braces are intended to be worn for but on the instructions for this one it recommends no longer than 2 to 3 hours. Bought meduim too tight after walking and the large one digs in at top perhaps have to adjust so a bit slacker otherwise good quality well made.
Peter5.0: I had a bad fall about 1 year ago and really damaged my left knee. Since then it kept popping out of place when I went for a smash or quick change of direction. After buy this knee guard it gives it the support and I still have enough movement to play tennis again.
Hugh Howat Macpherson5.0: I’ve had knee problems for some years now through accidents and falls. Whenever I skied my left knee would swell and become very painful to such an extent that i haven’t skied for three years. I tried the usual elasticated support but with little effect. This spring I decided to give it a go again possibly for the last time. I bought 2 McDavid supports and skied in Kitzbuhel on blues and reds for 4 days without any problems to my knee joints. Thoroughly enjoyed my few days and will be back again next year.
Daniel Cook4.0: This product helped me ski for a week with a knee problem that turned out to be torn cartilage. It does support a little but it’s main function is to remind you to look after yourself and particularly you are aware of it where you are putting lateral pressure on the knee in a twisting or jump turn. It can slip a bit but generally reasonably comfortable.
Michael S4.0: I have arthritis in my knee and this was a first attempt to deal with the pain. It is an excellent product and comfortable to wear but as I expected it is not really sufficient to deal with arthritis. so as a general brace very good as an arthritis support of limited use.
